Key Responsibilities
:
Prepare and cook authentic tandoori dishes, breads, and kebabs using traditional tandoor ovens.
Ensure proper marination and grilling techniques to maintain flavor and presentation.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory control.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the tandoor section.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food during service hours.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Innovate and contribute to menu development with new tandoori dishes.
Qualifications & Skills
:
Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef in a high-volume kitchen or reputable restaurant.
Expertise in tandoori cooking techniques and Indian spices.
Familiarity with clay oven operation and maintenance.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Culinary diploma or relevant training is a plus.
Preferred Experience
:
1+ years of experience in tandoori cooking.
Knowledge of vegetarian and non-vegetarian tandoori items.
Experience in Indian fine dining or high-end catering services.
