Role Description
As a Tally Support Executive, you will be responsible for delivering functional and technical support for Tally and allied products to Soft-Tech's clients. The role requires understanding client queries, troubleshooting Tally issues, handling installations/upgrades, and conducting user training. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customer support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of Tally solutions for clients.
Qualifications
Must Have:
Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field.
Good to Have:
Certification in Tally software.
Diploma/Certification in ERP support or IT systems.
Experience
Must Have:
1-3 years of experience in Tally support / ERP support / IT helpdesk.
Hands-on experience with Tally Prime (installation, troubleshooting, data migration, user support).
Good to Have:
Experience in handling Tally customization requirements.
Exposure to TDL (Tally Definition Language).
Experience in training end-users.
Key Skills
Must Have:
Strong knowledge of Tally Prime (functional & basic technical aspects).
Understanding of accounting principles & GST compliance.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage client queries via phone, email, and onsite visits.
Fair knowledge of accounting concepts, including:
Trial Balance / Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss
GST, TDS, TCS compliance
Bank Reconciliation
MSME Regulations
Good to Have:
Familiarity with TDL scripting/customization.
Knowledge of SQL databases & data backup/restoration.
Experience in ERP support for SMEs/MSMEs.
Understanding of business scenarios in Trading, Manufacturing, Export/Import, Local, and Forex transactions.
Knowledge of Connected Solutions in Tally Prime 6.x.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional & technical support for Tally Prime users.
Handle installation, activation, licensing, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Address GST, accounting, and compliance-related queries in Tally.
Conduct client training sessions and webinars for Tally users.
Ensure timely response & resolution of customer tickets.
Maintain detailed documentation of support cases and resolutions.
Collaborate with Tally development/customization teams when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,074.34 - ₹35,000.00 per month
