Job Description

The Tally Operator will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring data integrity in Tally ERP software. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience using Tally ERP (preferably Tally Prime).

Key Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions in

Tally ERP

. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and maintain

sales, purchase, and expense entries

. Reconcile bank statements and maintain ledgers. Generate

GST, TDS, and other statutory reports

. Assist in

monthly and annual closing

of accounts. Create and maintain

inventory and stock reports

in Tally. Support the finance team in audits and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Commerce / Accounting / Finance

(B.Com preferred).

1-3 years

of experience as a Tally Operator or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in

Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

. Strong understanding of

accounting principles and GST

. Good knowledge of

MS Excel

and basic computer operations. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

MS Office

Excel Pivot Tables

VLOOKUP

. Familiarity with

E-way bills

E-invoicing

, and

TDS return filing

. Good communication and team coordination skills.
