, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring candidates for a variety of roles including animal care, rescue operations, veterinary support, outreach, advocacy, and administrative support. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand organizational needs and ensure we bring on talent who are both skilled and deeply aligned with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles across departments (field staff, vets, animal handlers, awareness teams, etc.)
Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and outreach to mission-driven communities
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess experience and cultural fit
Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule interviews and gather feedback
Support onboarding of new hires to ensure a smooth transition
Maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles, including volunteers and interns
Promote diversity, inclusion, and equity in recruitment practices
Represent the organization at career fairs and networking events
Maintain accurate recruitment records and data for reporting
Advocate for the organization's mission through employer branding and candidate engagement
