The Talent Acquisition Executive will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for technical, support, and project-based roles within the construction industry. The role focuses on sourcing skilled workforce, managing hiring pipelines, coordinating with site teams and ensuring timely onboarding in alignment with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Sourcing & Recruitment
Manage full-cycle recruitment for positions such as Engineers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Safety Officers, and other support roles.
Identify manpower requirements by coordinating with Project Heads, HR Manager, and Site Teams.
Source candidates through job portals, social media, recruitment agencies, and networking.
Screen resumes, conduct telephonic interviews, and shortlist suitable profiles.
Schedule and coordinate interviews with internal stakeholders and hiring managers.
2. Hiring Operations
Maintain and update recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and MIS reports.
Follow up with candidates on interview status, offers, documentation, and joining.
Conduct reference checks and background verifications.
Coordinate pre-onboarding and onboarding formalities.
3. Stakeholder Management
Work closely with site HR, project management teams, and department heads to understand job requirements and manpower planning.
Provide regular updates on recruitment status and candidate pipelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external consultants and recruitment vendors.
4. Employer Branding & Recruitment Strategy
Assist in organizing job fairs, walk-ins, and campus recruitment drives.
Support employer branding initiatives to enhance visibility in the construction job market.
Contribute to improving recruitment processes and reducing hiring turnaround time.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of construction or infrastructure industry roles and manpower structure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
Strong sourcing skills using portals like Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, and referrals.
Good negotiation and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and recruitment dashboards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or MBA in HR or related field.
3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
Knowledge of labour laws and compliance (added advantage).
