Job Description

Role Purpose



To support end-to-end recruitment activities for

manufacturing, skilled, semi-skilled, and staff roles

in the Gems & Jewellery industry, ensuring timely hiring, compliance, and manpower availability as per production and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities



1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning



Understand manpower requirements from

Production, QA, Merchandising, Sales, Accounts, Security, and Admin

. Coordinate with department heads for

approved manpower requisitions

. Handle bulk hiring for: Karigars / Artisans Machine operators Polishers, Setters, CAD/CAM operators Helpers, Packers, Store staff Office staff (executives, supervisors)

2. Sourcing & Screening



Source candidates through: Local labour contractors Employee referrals Job portals Walk-in interviews Training institutes / skill centers Conduct preliminary screening: Experience in Gems & Jewellery Skill level (manual / machine) Salary expectations Shift and overtime willingness

3. Interview Coordination



Schedule and coordinate interviews with: Production Heads / Supervisors HR Manager / Unit Head Maintain interview records and selection status. Support trade tests / skill trials where required.

4. Offer, Joining & Documentation



Prepare and issue: Offer letters Appointment letters (as per policy) Ensure joining formalities: KYC documents Background details Statutory forms (PF, ESIC, nomination forms) Coordinate with Payroll & HR Operations team.

5. Compliance & Records



Maintain recruitment MIS: Open positions Hiring status Time-to-hire Source-wise hiring data

6. Employer Branding & Coordination



Represent company during walk-ins and local hiring drives. Maintain good relations with: Labour contractors Skill institutes Local employment offices Promote company culture, discipline, and safety standards.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong coordination & communication skills Ability to work under production pressure Basic knowledge of labour laws MS Excel & recruitment MIS

Educational Qualification



Graduate / Post Graduate. Certification in HR / Recruitment is an added advantage

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
