Job Summary

As a Sr. Developer you will play a critical role in designing developing and implementing data integration solutions using ETL tools and technologies. You will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration. Your expertise in PL/SQL Talend and Unix Shell Scripting will be essential in optimizing data processes and enhancing business intelligence capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement ETL processes using Talend ETL to ensure efficient data integration and transformation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data warehousing projects. Utilize PL/SQL to write complex queries and optimize database performance for data-driven applications. Administer Talend Administration Centre to manage and monitor ETL jobs and workflows. Design and maintain data integration solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs. Implement scheduling basics to automate ETL processes and ensure timely data availability. Use Unix Shell Scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance system efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes and data integration. Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing validation and error-handling mechanisms. Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members. Document ETL processes and data integration workflows for future reference and maintenance. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and ETL. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Demonstrate expertise in PL/SQL and SQL for database management and optimization. Have hands-on experience with Talend ETL and Talend Administration Centre. Show proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting for automation and task management. Exhibit knowledge of scheduling basics for efficient ETL process management.
