This position is under ICG TTS Operations Technology (OpsTech) Group , to help the implementation of next generation Digital Automation Platform and Imaging Workflow Technologies. The Candidate is required to possess relevant experience in managing development teams in the distributed systems Eco-System and should be a strong team player. We are looking for and experienced hands-on senior Talend developer with very good understanding of Java & ETL technologies and working knowledge of Oracle/MS SQL DB. The candidate should have worked previously ideally in a Java ETL developer role implementing J2EE based ETL solutions and understand what it takes to bring up and maintain an enterprise level application developed using Java technologies, including (but not limited to) Web Services, JDBC, etc. The candidate must also demonstrate a good command over Talend ETL tool is MUST The candidate must be very energetic and willing to learn new technologies. The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities: Lead and participate in all phases of SDLC including business requirements collection, analysis, sizing, design, development, testing, deployment and production support. Primarily responsible for hands-on Java based ETL Development (Talend) with support from onsite and off-shore consultants on daily basis Define and create data model, tables, views, queries etc. to support business requirements. Create and support Web Services that integrate ETL Jobs with internal application. Design, develop, debug, test and promote Java/ETL code into various environments from DEV through to PROD. Develop and contribute to Business Requirements Document along with users. Perform unit, integration and System testing of new application. Ability to work under tight deadlines to deliver high quality software for a new application from scratch. Experience in Agile processes and tools like SDLC/Dev Ops - Git/BitBucket, CI/CD pipeline frameworks such as JIRA,UDeploy Any secure coding toolkits. Familiar with API/Web Service, design patterns and UML Familiar with AutoSys and Connect Direct Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications Qualifications: 6-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry Solid proven hands-on development experience in Java & J2EE framework on Unix/Windows environment. Hands-on development/maintenance experience in Talend. Experience with Restful or SOAP based Web Services. Proficiency with Talend Open Data Studio or Talend Big Data is a must. Must have worked on projects that have resulted in code being deployed to production. Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD as well as Agile tools and processes including Git, Jenkins, Jira and Confluence. Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
