Job Description

:

3-5 years of overall industry experience in designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions using industry standard ETL tools. 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and productionizing solutions with Talend Data Integration. Extensive experience in designing end-to-end transformations and workflows using Talend Data Integration, as per requirement specifications. Experience with Talend Data Mapper OR working with XML data structures is mandatory. Deep SQL knowledge and experience with scripting a MUST. Good understanding of Java, and hands-on experience with using Java functions in Talend. Experience in leading small teams of 2-3 developers, conducting code quality reviews and recommending best practices. Ability to understand customer's requirements and to translate them into functional, data mapping/transformation requirement and mapping specifications. Good knowledge of MS-Office tools. Excellent communications skills in spoken and written English. Personal skills: Independent worker with outside the box thinking and a can-do attitude. Excellent analytical skills.

Skills / Requirements (Added advantage):

Industrial engineering or computer science graduate - advantage Experience with Talend Data Quality component is an added advantage Good knowledge of the insurance business (experience in the actuarial or insurance fields) - advantage. Experience with information systems (such as ERP) at a super user level - advantage Ability to understand data models and complex data structures Deep SQL knowledge - Must Experience or degree in programming - advantage
