.Responsibilities:Consult with clients to understand alteration or garment creation needsTake accurate measurements and record design specificationsSew, modify, alter, and repair various types dresses, and more .Advise clients on fabric, fit, and style choices.Attach fasteners and embellishments such as buttons, zippers, and hooksIron and finish garments, ensuring chalk marks are removed and pieces are ready for pickup. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Provide bills and records for all services as required. Keep up to date with current garment trend.

Requirements:Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress (minimum 1 year preferred)

Proficiency in operating sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques

Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements

Excellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently as part of a team or Independently high school diploma or equivalent; certification in tailoring or garment construction preferred.
