Job Description

Tailor will be responsible for stitching, altering, repairing, and maintaining garments or uniforms as per measurements and design specifications

Key Responsibilities:

Take accurate measurements of clients or employees and record details for fittings. Cut, stitch, and finish garments according to design and size requirements. Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments on existing garments. Ensure proper fitting during trial sessions and make necessary corrections. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tailoring workspace. Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and accessories based on garment needs. Operate sewing machines, overlock machines, and hand stitching tools safely. Maintain inventory of tailoring materials and report shortages to the supervisor. Meet daily or weekly production targets within quality standards. Handle uniforms or custom orders ensuring timely delivery.
