Create custom garments based on client measurements and specifications Perform fittings, alterations, and adjustments on a variety of clothing including suits, dresses, formal wear, and casual wear Supervise or train junior tailors and seamstresses as needed Select and handle fabrics, patterns, linings, and accessories for each garment Maintain and operate sewing machines and other tailoring equipment Ensure timely delivery of garments while maintaining high-quality standards Maintain accurate records of client measurements, orders, and alterations Collaborate with designers or fashion consultants when needed Provide professional style and fit advice to clients during consultations and fittings Ensure the tailoring workspace is clean, organized, and safe
