Job Description

Position Overview:

The Production Tailor is responsible for constructing, sewing, and finishing garments according to company production standards. This role involves operating industrial sewing machines, following patterns and specifications, and ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Sew, assemble, and finish garments according to design specifications and production requirements. Operate various industrial sewing machines (e.g., lockstitch, overlock, flatlock, buttonhole machines). Read and interpret patterns, technical sheets, and production instructions. Perform garment alterations, adjustments, and repairs as needed. Ensure accuracy in stitching, measurements, and finishing details. Inspect garments during and after production to ensure quality standards are met. Meet daily or weekly production targets and maintain workflow efficiency. Report any defects, machine issues, or material shortages to the supervisor. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a tailor or sewing machine operator in garment manufacturing. Strong knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques. Ability to handle various types of fabrics and materials. Good attention to detail, precision, and quality workmanship. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.

Work Environment:

Factory/production floor setting with exposure to industrial machines, fabrics, and continuous workflow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
