Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment & Reporting
Design, develop, and maintain
interactive dashboards and reports
using Tableau and Power BI.
Perform
data modeling and transformation
for optimal visualization and performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to
understand requirements and translate them
into actionable insights.
Develop
DAX queries, calculated fields, parameters, and KPIs
to support business use cases.
Implement
row-level security and governance models
in both Tableau and Power BI.
Administration & Infrastructure
Manage and administer
Tableau Server / Tableau Online
and
Power BI Service / Power BI Report Server
environments.
Configure and optimize
user roles, permissions, data source connections, and schedules
.
Perform
system monitoring, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting
.
Ensure
scalability, high availability, and performance tuning
of BI platforms.
Work with IT and security teams to enforce
data security, compliance, and governance policies
.
Integration & Data Management
Connect BI tools to various
data sources
(SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, APIs, Cloud data platforms, etc.).
Integrate with
PeopleSoft HCM and FSCM modules
for HR, Finance, and Supply Chain reporting.
Automate
ETL workflows and scheduled data refreshes
to ensure accurate reporting.
Partner with database administrators and data engineers to ensure
data quality and integrity
.
Collaboration & Support
Provide
end-user support, training, and documentation
for self-service analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Operations, IT) to deliver business intelligence solutions.
Mentor junior developers and analysts on BI best practices.
Drive adoption of analytics tools across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience
in Tableau and Power BI development and administration.
Strong knowledge of
ETL processes, data warehousing, and database optimization
.
Solid knowledge of
security administration and role-based access controls
within BI platforms.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with
PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management)
and
FSCM (Financials & Supply Chain Management)
modules.
Industry-recognized certifications such as:
Tableau Desktop Specialist / Certified Associate / Certified Professional
Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
Experience in
public sector or government projects
.
Knowledge of
cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
and integration with BI tools.
Familiarity with
DevOps practices
for BI (CI/CD pipelines, source control for BI assets).
