Role Purpose : Working for Business Intelligence requires a good understanding of the business context and the business requirements. The focus of the role is the development and maintenance of BI dashboards and BI self-service front-end tools for data analysis of business users in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in other IT departments. Role Description : Design, create and maintain dashboards and reports based on Tableau/ BO-Universes Schedule and run reports Distribute reports Check report failures and errors in dashboards and reports Communicate issues/delays to users Support users on dashboard reporting related issues/questions/service requests Support content-related analysis Support user access management Support maintenance of test and pre-production Tableau Server Basic technologies: Tableau, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, VBA), BO, SQL (Teradata) Essential : 5-8 years of strong Tableau development experience 5+ years of Tableau server development Strong SQL experience - Advanced level of SQL (Teradata) scripting Excellent data interpretation skills Good knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence, good understanding of the range of data manipulation and analysis techniques Reporting experience including interface with Webservices, data sources Working knowledge of large information technology development projects using methodologies and standards Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate information technology concepts to non-technology personnel Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, attitude to plan and organize work to deliver as agreed Hands-on experience working with large datasets Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Desired : SAP-BO and QlikView exposure Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access & VBA Telecommunication experience
