Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Tableau Developer to join our Data &
Analytics team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at transforming raw data into
meaningful insights and actionable dashboards. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing Tableau dashboards and data visualizations that enable business leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create efficient data extracts, calculations, and parameters to optimize dashboard

performance.

• Ensure accuracy and reliability of data sources through validation and troubleshooting.
• Implement best practices in dashboard design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Manage Tableau Server/Cloud content including workbooks, data sources, and permissions.
• Document technical processes, data definitions, and dashboard instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing in Tableau Desktop and/or Tableau Cloud.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, joining, and optimizing large datasets.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
• Experience creating calculated fields, LOD expressions, and advanced visualizations.
• Knowledge of Tableau Server/Cloud administration (publishing, permissions, scheduling).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, R) for advanced analytics.
• Experience with performance tuning for large-scale Tableau dashboards.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
