About the Team:

The Business Intelligence(Tableau) Developer reports to the Data Management & Analytics organization within the Information Systems/Enterprise IT & Strategy. Tableau Developer drives our business intelligence reporting and in this role, you will design and deploy high-impact dashboards that empower our C-Suite executives to make data-driven decisions. You will work across key business domains including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support/Success and Professional Services (PS) to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable KPIs.


This position requires a blend of technical expertise in

SQL and Tableau Prep

, along with a strong eye for visual storytelling. While your core focus will be on our current Tableau ecosystem (Server/Cloud), you will also have the opportunity to work with emerging technologies like

Tableau Next

and

Salesforce Data Cloud

.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Dashboarding:

Design and build intuitive, interactive dashboards specifically tailored for C-Level executives, ensuring clarity, speed, and relevance for high-level decision-making.

Domain Analytics:

Collaborate with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Marketing, and PS to define and visualize critical KPIs.

Data Preparation:

Develop robust data flows using

Tableau Prep

and write optimized

SQL queries

to clean, blend, and shape data from various sources (internal databases, Salesforce, ERPs).

Performance Tuning:

Optimize dashboard performance for faster load times and smoother end-user experience on Tableau Server/Cloud.

Governance & Standards:

Maintain data dictionaries, style guides, and documentation to ensure consistency and trust in data reporting.

Ad-Hoc Analysis:

Rapidly build prototype visualizations to answer urgent business questions during board meetings or quarterly reviews

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of

3+ years

of professional experience developing in

Tableau

(Desktop, Server, or Cloud).

Visual Excellence:

Proven ability to build "C-Suite ready" visualizations moving beyond basic charts to create compelling data narratives that require minimal explanation.

Technical Skills:

+ Strong proficiency in

SQL

(complex joins, CTEs, aggregation).
+ Expert knowledge of

Tableau Prep

for ETL and data flow management.
+ Deep understanding of Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, parameters, and calculated fields.

Communication:

Ability to bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business strategy.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Modern Analytics Experience:

Familiarity with

Tableau Next

(formerly Tableau Einstein) or "Agentic Analytics" features (Tableau Pulse, Einstein Copilot).

Salesforce Ecosystem:

Exposure to

Salesforce Data Cloud

(formerly Genie/CDP), specifically in

Semantic Modeling

(creating standardized data model objects and metrics).

Advanced Data Modeling:

Experience designing semantic layers that unify data across disparate systems for AI/Agent readiness.
