The System Integration Specialist is responsible for the integration and customization of Nokia solutions and third-party platforms to meet customer requirements. They create, deploy, and integrate solutions that enable rating, charging, and provisioning of new services, based on the operator's processes for service integration and business management systems. This is a multi-domain, multi-business group (BG) role that is typically not customer-facing.
Responsibilities:

  • Execute implementation plans by following defined processes and schedules.
  • Perform integration and configuration tasks, as well as execute test cases, based on predefined procedures.
  • Understand and interpret customer requirements to ensure solutions align with expectations.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts by identifying and resolving integration or configuration issues.
  • Collaborate with customers, architects, and integration teams to conduct detailed design and integration of product or solution components, while adhering to company guidelines and policies.
  • Analyze factual data to identify potential solutions, make informed decisions, and resolve a range of straightforward technical issues using professional knowledge and experience.
  • Translate professional concepts and strategic direction into actionable tasks within the organizational unit, including the integration of network elements both on-site and remotely.
  • Provide informal mentorship and support to new team members, guiding them through standard procedures and task execution for effective performance.
Qualifications:
You Have:
  • Proven ability to execute integration, configuration, and testing tasks with strong troubleshooting skills in telecom environments.
  • Proficient in Python, Java, JavaScript, and FTL for automation, customization, and tool development.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GKE, RedHat, Rancher, Kubernetes, and Docker/containerd.
  • Strong command of Linux systems and database handling for managing backend systems and services.
  • Academic background in Telecommunication with domain expertise in GPON, Netconf/YANG, and MQTT/USP protocols.
  • Experienced in Agile/SCRUM practices and CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
It Would Be Nice If You Also Had:
  • Familiarity with NOKIA SDAN, Home WiFi, and related products. Working knowledge of open-source tools like Keycloak, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Index search.
  • Understanding of infrastructure-level microservices and architecture-level system design.
