If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Specialist Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karn\xc4\x81taka (IN-KA), India (IN).Provides multilevel data backup technical support for diagnosing and fixing backup software and related hardware issues such as tape drive failure, gripper, robotic arm issues.Plan, Execute Capacity Planning, DB volume configuration, License management, analyze patch requests and apply patches, forecasting backup data, backup trend analysis, Performance review and performance tuning of backups.Maintain reports on disk utilization, availability and growth patterns.Provides recommendations to improve the storage infrastructure, and address/lead critical issues and root cause analysis.Defines the storage hierarchy, formats and defines the database, recovery log, and disk storage pool volumes.Configures sequential storage pools and volumes. Defines data management policies.Sets up schedules and automated tasks.Defines tape sharing (library sharing, LAN-free).Tests the hardware / configures sequential storage pools and volumes.Performing DR exercises. Assistance in transition activities and major incidents and problem records. Able to interact with Vendor for technical support.Document standard for new backup solutions.Candidate should be familiar with Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management.Should familiar with Major Incident ManagementShould be familiar with SME for required backup skills and strong interpersonal skills requiredShould be strong in Oral, Written and Presentation Skills neededDirect Customer interaction skillset neededAnalyze the environment and provide the Risk register along with Mitigation plan for the client backup infrastructure.Alert fine-tuning to be done according to the customer environmentAutomation to be implemented for automate the health check, media loading, unloading and required repeated tasks in the environment.About NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
