Job Title: Systems Engineer

Salary - 25 to 30 Lakh per year with no benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the planning & engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation & design of hardware & software. Monitors the performance of systems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in an area of specialty & experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar in standard concepts, practices, & procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience & judgment to plan & accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity & latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluating, optimizing, & specifying hardware, infrastructure software & services (CI's);
Identifying & reviewing new types of hardware & infrastructure software & services applicable to the IT environment & determining compliance in the relevant standards & requirements;
Assessing the feasibility of & risks associated in proposed introduction or changes of CIs to the IT environment;
Performing optimal matching of technical requirements in hardware, infrastructure software & services CIs available in the marketplace;
Direct, oversee & validate testing configured hardware & infrastructure software for satisfaction of the requirements & compatibility in other CIs; Direct, oversee, & testing manufacturer's in-model revisions to hardware & infrastructure software to confirm proper operation within the IT environment;
Evaluating & recommending or developing solution designs that keep the data assets accessible & recoverable, & meet the requirements for performance;
Oversee & direct tuning & optimizing platform performance, including in respect to changes (i.e., additions, removals, & modifications) of or to hardware & infrastructure software in the environment;
Developing specifications for physical & logical network addressing in coordination in other interconnected & third-party networks;
Developing & maintaining documents describing the physical & logical networks, including security components, & addressing schemes;
Developing & documenting configuration parameters in a manner consistent in maximizing the use, performance, & availability of the IT environment within the capabilities of CIs;
Developing, documenting, & maintaining the configuration parameters & implementation guidelines for the building of Elements & their sub- components, & providing such information to the applicable Process owner(s);
Performing forward-looking assessments of emerging technology(ies) to assess applicability & potential benefit.
Providing input to & assisting in the development of standards; and

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong experience in infrastructure software & IT services configuration & support.
Familiarity in feasibility & risk assessments for adopting new technologies, including upcoming Windows 2025 migration.
Working knowledge of performance monitoring & optimization tools, such as RVTools, Task Manager, Nagios, DataDog, Rapid7, & Microsoft Defender.
Ability to provide oversight of hardware/software testing & validation (primarily 90% oversight, 10% hands-on).
Knowledge of & adherence to internal IT standards for compliance & governance.
Experience producing technical documentation, including settings, build documentation, & application-specific configuration.
Understanding of network topology (physical & logical addressing); experience in third-party network support a plus.
Capability to conduct forward-looking technology assessments & stay current in evolving IT life cycles.
Proven track record of delivering servers & infrastructure into production environments without incident.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
