You will be responsible for
Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture:
Design and implement unified data platforms combining AI, advanced analytics, and BI capabilities.
Strategic Roadmap:
Define and execute a forward-looking platform strategy for AI adoption and analytics modernisation.
Technology Evaluation:
Assess emerging AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Dremio), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) using market research (including Gartner insights).
Cloud Integration:
Architect solutions leveraging Azure tools for data and AI workloads.
Innovation & Prototyping:
Deliver rapid proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes for AI-driven analytics solutions, including Generative AI and LLM-based use cases.
Governance & Standards:
Establish best practices for scalability, security, compliance, and implement data governance, lineage, and observability frameworks.
Leadership Communication:
Prepare strategic presentations for leadership showcasing platform capabilities and roadmap.
Mentorship:
Guide team members in AI, data engineering, and BI integration, fostering technical excellence.
You will need
Required Skills
Experience:
10+ years in data architecture, analytics platforms, and AI strategy.
AI & Advanced Analytics:
Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), predictive analytics, and AI services.
Platform Expertise:
Knowledge of Dremio, CEPH S3, Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
BI Integration:
Familiarity with ETL tools and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting within modern data platforms.
Cloud Proficiency:
Deep experience with Azure for AI and analytics workloads.
Strategic Influence:
Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Innovation:
Proven ability to deliver prototypes and drive adoption of emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in cloud architecture, AI/ML, or data platforms.
Familiarity with Gartner research and industry best practices.
Experience in hybrid AI-BI environments, multi-cloud deployments, and data mesh principles.
