The Infrastructure Engineering team design, develop and operate all infrastructure used by Tesco Technology across our data centres, offices, stores and distribution centres. This encompasses multiple domains; private and public cloud, connectivity, end-user computing, CI/CD and monitoring toolkit. This includes both 3rd party and internally developed infrastructure applications and infrastructure that support the wider Tesco business.

• Update design document or addendum to reflect the current state of the infrastructure. A more senior engineer will sign-off.
• Specialize in a Mobile Device Management engineering area as a member of a technical team.
• Focus on high quality as a priority to avoid rework and ensure delivery is right the first time.
• Develop changes to both internal and 3rd party system components to meet a delivery need.
• Follow established practices and guidance using the latest tools and techniques.
• Operate existing areas and resolve issues using existing procedures, knowledge, and the resources around me.
• Identify opportunities to automate work and deliver against them.
• Collaborate with Software Development Engineers to assist in how they use systems, Software as a Service or Platform as a Service offering.
• Keep my technical skills up to date and keep track of new technologies.
• Implement changes successfully and follow the change management processes.

Qualifications

• SOTI MobiControl 14.x and above
• EMM tools from SOTI Microsoft VMWare and Citrix
• On-premise and Cloud EMM Implementations
• Android Enterprise Device Management capabilities & Device security
• Device Application and Content Management on both Android and iOS
• Expertise in Android OS and Android Device management
• Expertise on Android Enterprise management
• Expertise on the Application & Data management (MAM Capability)
• Expertise on at least one of the EMM tools (Microsoft, VMWare, SOTI)
• Good Understanding on Application packaging and deployment to the Android devices
• Good understanding on APIs to automate the management tasks
• Familiar with On-premise and Cloud EMM Implementations
• Familiar with Samsung KNOX & suite of services
• At least 2 years of experience in managing large/complex global MDM solutions
