AMD together we advance_ The Team: The Automation Team is an integral part of the AMD IT organization. We integrate and support ongoing and new use-cases at every phase of the software development and infrastructure lifecycle and work closely with team leaders to ensure environments and applications are deployed on time and reliably. The Automation Team is tasked with enabling the IT organization to improve its workflows, procedures and cost. Given AMD\'s large portfolio of applications, infrastructure and use-cases, we are pushing the boundaries of automating. Our expertise lies in deep technical understanding of software development life cycle, Cloud infrastructure and our Automation engineers within AMD. The Role: As an Automation Engineer, you will leverage your understanding of Cloud infra, Windows/Linux OS, Python/Bash/Terraform tools and processes to ensure their efficient and effective operation against our infrastructure and applications. You will work with global team members to improve tool processes and workflows, as well as development teams to advise and lead automation projects. Key Responsibilities: Development of Automation projects, using a range of tools and languages Teach, train and educate team members and other co-workers about Automation Review existing processes and improve them Cloud Infrastructure automation API/3rd parties\' integrations Preferred skills and experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role 1-2 of experience with Python Understanding of Windows & Linux OS Bash/PowerShell familiarity Terraform/Ansible/other Config Management tools Cloud providers experience: Azure, AWS, GCP Benefits offered are described: .
