The Systems Developer II - Oracle CPQ is responsible for providing technical design, development, integration, testing, and support for the Oracle Big Machines CPQ platform. We are looking for a candidate who has in-depth technical hands-on experience in the Oracle CPQ platform, and preferably, exposure to the salesforce.com platform. He/she must possess good interpersonal skills as he/she will work with business users, management, and IT personnel.
Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, and enhance Oracle CPQ components, configurations, and integrations according to specifications within a team environment.
• Performs systems analysis and prepares detailed system documentation including requirements, specifications, test plans and user manuals.
• Performs unit and system tests and as needed, validation testing.
• Configure working prototypes in a development sandbox if required, and validate and refine prototypes.
• Plan, schedule and implement the Oracle Upgrade program to ensure minimal impact to end users.
• Trouble shoot issues in the CPQ environment and in related integrations.
• Coordinates with Operations staff on deployment of applications.
• Works with business partners to analyse and address support requests to include training.
• Must have a strong understanding of sales processes.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensures all activities are performed with quality and compliance.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
4+ years of relevant systems development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on Oracle CPQ (Big Machines) platform.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• In Depth knowledge of Oracle Big Machines platform.
• Good knowledge of Oracle Big Machines platform features, setups and technology including BML and BMQL. Programming experience with BML is a must.
• Strong understanding of sales processes like opportunities, CPQ quoting, BM commerce, model configurations, pricing, discounting, promotions, approval matrix, and sales orders.
• Expertise in Oracle CPQ Configuration & Commerce Array Sets, XSL, XML, CSS, Jscript.
• Good understanding of the Big Machines data model, data architecture, and data management, and familiar with integrations with other systems like salesforce.com.
• Ability to understand and debug complex Configuration Models.
• Hands-on experience in Integration with third party systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, OFM.
• Knowledge of SOAP and REST API usage in CPQ.
• Must be a confident self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.
• Ability to clearly understand business requirements and convert them into a functional design, and to collaborate with business analysts and users to define solution approaches.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Big Machines CPQ implementation in a salesforce.com environment via managed packages.
• In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Big Machines platform.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business users, management, and team members.
• Planning and analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate ideas and plans verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Oracle Big Machines certifications. Optionally, Salesforce.com certifications (preferred).
• Strong communication skill with experience interacting directly with coworkers and process owners.
• Must be willing to work from 1 PM IST to 10 PM IST [3:30 PM PST to 12:30 AM PST]
