The Systems Architect is responsible for guiding the design and direction of infrastructure elements that deliver or support services in use by Iron Mountain and its customers. The successful candidate will work closely with a range of stakeholders including the rest of the architecture team, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Platform Services, business analysts, and the IT Operations teams. • 10+ Years, hands-on technical architecture skills and depth across multiple technologies. Technology areas to include Cloud, Virtualization, Network, Compute, and Storage
• Deep knowledge and experience in architecting infrastructure solutions on top of public cloud infrastructure, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Demonstrable experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure an advantage.
• Combined business and technology background in a large and omplex, Global corporate environments
• Broad understanding of technology marketplace and trends, with sufficient depth to assess emerging technologies and technology partners.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and influence across multiple stakeholders and ability to set strategic IT architectural direction across a large or highly complex organization.
• Understanding of architecture roadmaps for multiple infrastructure domains.
• Proven ability to architect and design innovative, industry-leading solutions to efficiently solve business problems at line of business and/or enterprise levels with financial discipline.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in providing architectural direction and ability to engage SMEs.
• Solid consulting experience and ability to influence decisions/actions at all levels of the organization.
• Able to understand and articulate short and long-term costs, benefits, and risks of technical solutions.
• Ability to work with multiple business domains, and ensure alignment to technology strategy
• Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams and across Time zones.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels
• The ability to work in a matrix environment
• Familiarity and/or experience working with 3rd party partners/vendorsFamiliarity and/or experience working with 3rd party partners/vendors
