Your profile

• Managing and maintaining global design standards and guidelines
• Managing and maintaining global design processes and procedures
• Coordinate and facilitate improvement projects.
• Checklists and templates
• Manage global documentation templates including piping and & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), general arrangements (GA), foundation arrangements (FA), technical specifications & equipment lists.
• Manage checklists for use with P&IDs, GA, FA, technical specifications & equipment lists.
• Ability to maintain product data and structure management within Teamcenter/GloBus
• Perform design analyses; calculations including compressor performance, torsional analyses, and other reciprocating compressor-focused areas.
• Implementing product safety guidelines
• Coordinate with field service to identify design-related issues that can be improved in the future.
• Solicit feedback from Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, suppliers, customers, and others to drive all aspects of Product Lifecycle Engineering
• Working with suppliers, to select auxiliary components including motors, consoles, coolers, scrubbers, instrumentation, wiring, valves, etc.
• Coordinate with the digitalization team to improve design tools.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions
• Manage API comments and exceptions.
• Support R&D projects

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor\'s degree in engineering preferably in Mechanical/ Control / Instrumentation Degree.
• Minimum B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or an engineering related field
• 5 years of experience in the design, packaging, or operation of reciprocating equipment
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on an as needed basis.
• Ability to give verbal or written direction to others.
• Excellent time management, written, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills
• Familiarity with basic industry standards for components (eg: ASME, API, ANSI, ISO)
• Competency in technical areas of thermodynamics, fluids, dynamics, and vibration.
• Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Experience in the design, packaging, or operation of reciprocating compressors
• Experience with Engineering/PLM software Teamcenter, NX, E3, COMOS, and/or Jira
• Experience with SAP
