Location/Division Specific Information

This position will be located in our Bangalore center of excellence.

How will you make an impact?

The ERP Distribution and Operations Analyst role is responsible for project, enhancement and support delivery for the ERP systems in MM/PP and Procurement functionals incl. assessment, costing, determination of scope and effort estimation for all E1 and non-E1 projects and enhancements using their own knowledge and pulling from others on the team for this purpose. The ERP Distribution and Operations Analyst will collaborate with other team members, functional leads, offshore and external vendors, to ensure that projects and enhancements are delivered, without negatively impacting quality, as well as providing support in resolving service delivery matters and ensuring SLA\xe2\x80\x99s for service are met.

What will you do?

  • Partner with the Business Analysts to design new solutions to meet business requirements
  • Able to articulate solution options and using E1 configuration creatively versus developing enhancements
  • Support projects of critical importance; provide guidance to global project teams for planning, building, and delivery
  • Coordinate with development team and monitor the progress of developing activities and updating the status with respective teams
  • Lead, debate, and communicate with key decision makers internally and externally;
  • Actively participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and Post-Mortem Reviews
  • Effective and efficient delivery of all functional E1/SAP Project Execution activity to ensure that it is delivered in consistent, harmonized and optimal manner within the guidelines of the Project Management Framework (PMF)
  • Management and accountability for the achievement of all Metrics (SLAs);
  • Cost effectiveness, quality and on-time delivery of all functional aspects of Enhancements and Projects
  • Delivery and support of incident/break/fix and production support
  • Effectively manage the relationship with internal business partners
  • Collaborate with other ERP Functional Leads - Project Execution to deliver a seamless global project execution model. Gather and effectively use data to deliver continuous improvement
  • Actively participate in project and enhance reviews
How will you get here?
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience acceptable.
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of E1 ERP functional experience.
  • Experience working with change management tools and SDLC
  • Demonstrated experience with delivery / ITIL in a regulated environment
Tool & Technology Skills
  • E1 implementation experience
  • Agile DevOps experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Ability to set expectations, explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management and business partners
  • Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate information to both technical and non-technical staff and management
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment
  • Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups around the globe
  • Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and manage in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT colleagues on a remote basis
  • Must have the ability to question the status quo
