The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all IT-related activities, including network management, hardware and software maintenance, user support, and data security. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of office IT systems.Key Responsibilities:

  • Network and System Management:
  • Manage and maintain the offices network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
  • Administer servers, including file servers, email servers, and domain controllers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Hardware and Software Maintenance:
  • Install, configure, and maintain office hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, and telecommunication systems.
  • Manage software installations, updates, and licenses, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for office staff in a timely manner.
  • User Support and Training:
  • Provide technical support to office staff, resolving IT-related issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Conduct training sessions to help employees understand and effectively use IT systems and tools.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring secure and appropriate use of office IT resources.
  • Data Security and Backup:
  • Implement and maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access or breaches.
  • Manage backup systems and procedures to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or disasters.
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, ensuring the offices IT environment is protected against threats.
  • IT Procurement and Asset Management:
  • Coordinate the procurement of IT equipment and software, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisitions.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT assets, tracking their usage, maintenance, and lifecycle.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient and reliable IT services.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures that align with company goals and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and IT standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest IT developments and recommend improvements to enhance office efficiency.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role in an office environment.
  • Strong knowledge of office IT systems, networks, and software (Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Office 365, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network management, security, and data backup/recovery procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
