Sounds like you?For our team of technical experts working on HVDC control and protection systems, we are looking for a motivated engineer (f/m/d) for the DC protection and measurement system.Measurement system: we ensure among other things that all measured values in the HVDC are collected, preprocessed, and sent according to the requirements of the receivers - (converter) control, regulation, DC protection.DC protection system: the base for the DC protection concept of the whole HVDC system is designed during our investigations and parametrizations. We create a technical optimal solution for the challenges of the energy transition for our customers. We parametrize the DC protection functions with analytical and simulative methods, extensive protection coordination studies, we adapt the software and integrate our solution in the hardware of our systems in the testing area. The mentioned points are part of your work as well as the collaboration and coordination with other teams to achieve the best solution for our customer.We work in the analysis and solution of complex system engineering problems, ensuring system stability and security, and in the implementation of new features and protection strategies as needed. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to promote cross-team cooperation within the HVDC area through trainings, workshops, continuous improvement, or digitalization topics and to help to shape it by yourself.
