Job Description

Purpose: Our Process Data Analytics team works with large manufacturing industries to provide them data analytics solutions which require an extensive aptitude to understand their IT architecture and device an appropriate deployment strategy. This kind of role will require installation and deployment of the Historians (On-prem or cloud), networking, establishing the reliable communication between multiple layers of PLCs /SCADA / DCS.
Essential Duties and Key Competencies:
Implementation (and post-installation) support on installation of web-based platforms
Knowledge of OPC-UA/DA/HDA, PLC programming, SCADA/DCS
Experienced in Implementation of Process data Historians, such as OSI PI, Honeywell PHD, ABB-Knowledge Manager..etc
Knowledge of firewall, communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Profibus, profiNet, and others along with networking
Experienced in setting up the Kepware servers, security layers/DMZ layer
Knowledge of establishing the stored procedure for SQL server for configuration of the tags
Experienced with prior-installation web-based analytical solutions on cloud or on-premise
Restful API/SDK, Connectors for SQL/No-SQL, Time-series Databases(SCADA, Process Historians)
Querying in SQL, .json
Knowledge of java/JVM/JDBC/ODBC connectors
Experienced with technology stack such as Java / JVM languages on the backend and TypeScript / Angular on the frontend.
Back-end troubleshooting
Knowledge of databases and streaming data
Well versed with techniques which are used for accessing the live data
Setting up of databases for collecting the data in real-time
Skilled in finding automation opportunities using various tools to improve reliability, MTTR, and cost optimization.
Knowledgeable and skilled in systems management, data collection, analysis and troubleshooting issues while supporting high availability environments deployed using the hybrid cloud model.
Cloud deployment/cloud-based solution architecting:
Experienced with SaaS deployment architecture
Experienced with cloud/hybrid cloud services
Candidates preferred with cloud certification
Learns new tools and environments quickly.
Knowledge of time-series analytics
You are motivated by solving customer problems. You tenaciously dig in to find the real root cause. You are responsive, and you dont mind working off-hours sometimes.
You like both Linux and Windows. (90 PERCENT of our customers use Windows)
Hands-on experience in scalability, security, reliability, and elegant solutions.
Fluent in networking technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP(S), and Ethernet, with experience in deep investigation with tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, TCPView, Process Explorer and the rest of the Sysinternals Windows power tools.
Flexible for traveling on-demand for handling client related concerns on installations and others
