Nokia\xe2\x80\x99s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise. Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of \xe2\x80\x9cgigabit to the home\xe2\x80\x9d solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don\xe2\x80\x99t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.

In the system integration service we support deployment of cloud based network supporting last mile access network. Supporting this integration includes our last mile access products such as Lightspan OLTs, Fast mile wireless access (FWA) nodes, and Wifi Beacons along with the cloud design and implementation of various private and public clouds and the integration of software defined access network (Altiplano) , fast mile controller, and Nokia Wifi could controller products of Nokia.
Fixed Networks Professional Services (FN-PS) Business Unit is looking for Service Delivery Manager for System integration Service delivery team. With this assignment you will be responsible for managing customer, Nokia local team, SLA\xe2\x80\x99s and project deliverables, monitoring team performance and constantly improve processes. SDM will be acquiring basic knowledge of the above said technologies and products needed for a smooth delivery management

What you will learn and contribute to

A service delivery manager\xe2\x80\x99s role focuses on keeping clients satisfied with the company\xe2\x80\x99s services through managing projects, fixing any reliability issues, tracking service metrics, managing budget and helping lead the professionals responsible for getting services delivered to clients. The SDM will work within the NSDC and will be responsible for the management of integration projects and ensure that these are delivered on time. A key part of this role is the proactive management and interfacing with the team. SDM will be acquiring basic knowledge of Cloud, Altiplano/LS , FMC/FWA, NWCC/Wifi, technologies and products needed for a smooth project delivery management. NSDC is a global team working on various projects across continents, this gives opportunity to work with multi culture internal and external customers.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Communicate with TPM, PM and other functions for successful project delivery
  • Working with NSDC team and R&D teams to come up with the right solutions for the customer both technically and project delivery wise
  • Build and maintain the project schedules in coordination with project team and technical teams
  • Maintain the action item registry for the projects,
  • Follow escalation process where needed for unresolve issues
  • Work with project team and customer to adjust the scope and timelines where needed
  • Resource allocation management
Key Accountabilities:
  • NSDC scope management and delivery management
  • Focusing on maintaining good relationships with customer and improving the company\xe2\x80\x99s services to keep them satisfied
  • Monitoring the delivery of the project timelines and issues
  • Coordinating with local teams
  • Providing weekly, monthly, quarterly reports
  • Resource allocation tracker and management.
  • Time tracking and management.
Your skills and experience

We are looking people experienced in:
  • Project Management
  • Managing the delivery projects/ operation
  • Collaboration with Senior Leadership
  • Resource time tracking, work distribution
  • Using task driven workflow management toolsets
  • Management of virtual teams spread across multiple countries
  • Telecommunications industry
  • People and process management
  • With minimal of 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
  • Engineering degree.
Key skills:
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Outgoing problem solver with customer service and management experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work, take risk and decisions under time pressure
  • Excellent documentation and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written
  • Negotiation skills
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Good knowledge of broadband telecommunication technologies (XDSL, GPON)
  • Good knowledge of NOKIA access network elements (ISAM 7302, 7330, 7356, 7367 etc.) including hardware configuration, services and end user provisioning procedures (CPEs, ONTs) and access network architecture
  • Good knowledge of IP services like IPTV, HIS, VoIP, QoS
  • Science Degree or equivalent
  • Track record of project management delivery in a telecom environment
  • PM certification
  • Spoken Foreign language skills in Spanish, French, German etc.,
  • MBA
