We are seeking a skilled

System Engineer

to design, implement, manage, and maintain enterprise IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, security, and performance while supporting business operations and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and system software Monitor system performance, availability, and security Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis Manage system upgrades, patches, and backups Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning Collaborate with network, security, and application teams Automate routine system administration tasks Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices Provide L2/L3 system support when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Proven experience as a System Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Experience with monitoring tools and system performance tuning Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Knowledge of security, backup, and recovery processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) IT certifications (RHCE, MCSE, AWS, Azure, CompTIA) Experience in DevOps or Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible)
