Key Responsibilities

:

Install, configure, and manage web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS) and hosting environments. Manage domain registrations, DNS configurations, and SSL certificates to ensure website accessibility and security. Administer Linux-based systems including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Implement and maintain antivirus solutions on Linux servers to protect against malware and security threats. Configure and manage firewalls (hardware/software) to secure networks and systems from unauthorized access. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure optimal uptime. Manage and maintain IT hardware including servers, desktops, laptops, and networking devices. Administer network infrastructure including switches, routers, and wireless devices. Perform network troubleshooting and ensure connectivity across systems and sites. Apply patches, updates, and security configurations on servers and network devices. Implement backup and disaster recovery plans for critical systems and data. Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python). Document system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new applications and IT infrastructure changes. Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience with Linux server administration and web hosting environments. Strong understanding of DNS, domain management, and SSL/TLS protocols. Experience managing antivirus solutions on Linux platforms. Familiarity with firewall configuration and network security principles. Hands-on experience with hardware maintenance and network troubleshooting. Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and teamwork skills.
