Brief primary function of your role: The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) System Analyst is responsible for analyzing and designing required specifications for new customer set-ups / enhancements and modifications within Eaton\xe2\x80\x99s EDI application environments. Responsible of keeping our EDI Support metrics within target range. Work end-to -end from ERP and Sterling Integrator side in resolving EDI support issues. Serving as the primary link between the business and our data-trading partners, the jobholder helps define EDI transactions and business flows, as well as creating mappings and scripts within the Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) environment. Working independently, or in conjunction with ERP Functional Analysts on larger B2B projects (who help define priority, scope and customer requirements) the EDI System Analyst is responsible for timely delivery and successful outcomes in respect of: End-to-end EDI testing (with trading partners and ERP developers) and also providing post go-live support to our stakeholders Full project lifecycle (on \xe2\x80\x9cfast track\xe2\x80\x9d modifications to existing partner set-ups, including the support of user acceptance testing events / schedules); Implementing transactions in Eaton production ERP environments, including handling of warranty cases and support request routing; Recommend improvements to standard Eaton software, processes, EDI specifications and platforms; Represent EDI for enterprise IT by participating in large and cross-functional enterprise projects. Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as: B.E / BTech / MCA / Equivalent or B.Sc
7 to 12 years of Sterling Integrator development and support experience.

Skills:

• Experience of End-to-end implementations for EDI functionality using Sterling B2B Integrator and SAP/Oracle applications
• Should have experience and knowledge handling EDI related configurations in SAP/Oracle and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Should have experience working on EDI support issues.
• Expertise in creating scripts and mapping in SI for transactions conforming to X12 EDI and/or EDIFACT EDI standards
• A slolid understanding of Agile principles, effective collaboration within cross-functional teams, the ability to adapt to changing requirements, and a commitment to deliver high quality code within the iterative development cycle of Scrum.
• Knowledge in non-EDI integration, such as XML, flat file, web services, etc.
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols, such as FTP, SFTP, AS2
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 stakeholder management

Nice to Have Skills -
Experience in Oracle PL/SQL
EDI related flow knowledge in ERP\'s like SAP, Oracle. "
