The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support across various IT functions, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining the Group\xe2\x80\x99s IT infrastructure. This role will operate on a 24\xc3\x977 basis and function as part of a shared services center serving the entire group.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
Infrastructure Management:
  • Set up office hardware and establish interoffice connectivity.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect and support IT infrastructure at client sites.
  • Manage internet service providers and virtual private networks (VPN).
  • Set up and manage office hardware, including laptops, desktops, printers, firewalls, and network devices.
  • Must have excellent knowledge on managing the Macbook, Windows & Linux systems/servers.
User Support and Services:
  • Provide IT support to end-users and troubleshoot issues.
  • Set up, manage, and support email services.
  • Knowledge on AD\xe2\x80\x99s like Microsoft Office 365, JumpCloud & LDAP
  • Oversee the training and onboarding of users to IT systems and applications.
Vendor and Asset Management:
  • Manage and track all IT assets, including hardware and software.
  • Oversee the provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of applications and software license management.
  • Manage the purchase order process for IT-related purchases and coordinate with various IT vendors for services, products, and support.



Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of hardware setup, and system administration.
  • Ability to manage email servers and ensure their security.
  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with software management, licensing, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, especially written and spoken English
  • Ability to work on a 24\xc3\x977 shift basis.
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to change.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of IT Support or a related role.
