Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

System Administrator with DevOps knowledge

to manage, monitor, and optimize our IT infrastructure while supporting our DevOps workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system administration (Linux/Windows servers, networking, security, backups) and working knowledge of DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automation, and cloud platforms.

You will be responsible for ensuring system stability, scalability, and security, while also collaborating with development teams to streamline deployment and monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain servers (Linux/Windows). Manage user accounts, permissions, and system security policies. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/updates. Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies. Maintain network infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).

DevOps & Automation:

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.). Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet. Deploy and manage containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes). Collaborate with development teams to improve software release and deployment processes.

Cloud & Virtualization:

Administer cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean). Manage virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox). Optimize cost, performance, and scalability in hybrid/multi-cloud setups.

Monitoring & Security:

Implement monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK stack). Ensure system compliance with security standards and best practices. Perform log analysis and incident response. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patching.

Collaboration & Documentation:

Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams for smooth releases. Document system configurations, policies, and procedures. Provide technical support and training to team members when required.

Pay: ₹10,121.23 - ₹48,415.65 per month
