Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

System Administrator

to manage and support IT infrastructure across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with

Windows/Linux servers

,

cloud platforms

, and

network administration

. You will be responsible for ensuring high system availability, performance optimization, and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers. Monitor system performance, security logs, and network traffic. Perform routine backups, disaster recovery planning, and system updates. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security policies. Collaborate with IT teams to implement system improvements and automation. Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures. Support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 2-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Infrastructure Engineer. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience managing Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange servers. Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices. Exposure to monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds. CompTIA Server+, Network+, or Microsoft/Azure certification is a plus.
