Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related software.

Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.

Perform system backups and recovery processes.

Security:

Implement security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.

Regularly update systems to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.

Network Configuration:

Configure and manage network services such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, and IP routing.

Troubleshoot network issues and ensure seamless connectivity.

Automation and Scripting:

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages. -

Automate repetitive tasks and streamline system operations.

System Monitoring: -

Use monitoring tools to track system health, performance, and capacity.

Respond to and resolve system alerts and incidents in a timely manner.

User Support: -

Provide support to developers, engineers, and end-users on Linux-related issues. -

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and networking problems. -

Documentation: -

Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.

Create and update technical documentation and user guides.
