Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of systems, networks, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to servers, desktops, and network devices. Provide technical support to internal users for system, software, and hardware issues. Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures. Assist with user account setup, permissions, and password management. Maintain documentation of IT procedures, system configurations, and support issues. Ensure security through access controls, firewalls, and antivirus solutions. Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades, patches, and improvements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in IT support or system administration. Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems. Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools is a plus. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Experience with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?200,000.00 - ?500,000.00 per year
