Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

System Administrator

with strong hands-on expertise in managing

Windows and Linux systems

, databases, networking, security, backups, hosting infrastructure, and

Microsoft Azure

environments. This is a

strictly office-based role

, supporting a

development-focused infrastructure

, and requires strong troubleshooting, operational, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot

Windows & Linux desktops and servers

Diagnose and resolve

hardware issues

(servers, desktops, storage, peripherals

Administer Windows Server:

User, group, and permission management Group Policies (GPO) and security policies Manage identity and access using

Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

Install, configure, and maintain databases:

Microsoft SQL Server (

MSSQL

)

MySQL

Linux-based database systems Perform database monitoring, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting Plan and manage

backup, restore, and disaster recovery

processes Handle

network connectivity

, troubleshooting, and performance issues Configure and manage

firewalls, VPNs, and network security

Host and manage

in-house websites and application servers

Manage

on-premises hosting servers

for development and production environments

Work with

Microsoft Azure

:

Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking Hybrid (on-prem + cloud) infrastructure Monitor system performance, availability, security, and compliance Maintain technical

documentation

and provide support to development teams

Required Qualifications:

Minimum

3 years of hands-on experience

as a System Administrator in a

development or hosting environment

Strong knowledge of

Windows Server, Linux, Azure, and Entra ID

Solid understanding of

networking

(TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, VPN) Experience in

backup solutions, data protection, and recovery

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Added Advantage:

Experience with

virtualization

(Hyper-V / VMware) Knowledge of

PowerShell / Bash scripting

Understanding of

system security hardening

Exposure to

monitoring and performance tools

Basic knowledge of AI concepts or AI infrastructure support

Familiarity with supporting

AI/ML environments

is a plus

Soft Skills:

Good communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years as a System Administrator.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?300,000.00 - ?500,000.00 per year
