to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. You will install hardware and software, participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of our organization, and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications (Windows/Linux).
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Ensure backup operations are running effectively and test recovery procedures.
Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, and patch management.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Manage data center and physical/virtual server environments.
Collaborate with other teams and vendors to maintain security and stability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
