About the Role

We are looking for a skilled

System Administrator

to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux operating systems and related software while ensuring high system performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based operating systems and software. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime reliability. Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures. Automate administrative tasks using

Bash

or

Python

scripting. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Install and maintain services like

PHP, Python, Django, Laravel, MySQL, Node.js, Angular

. (Added Advantage)Configure and maintain network services such as

DNS, DHCP, and LDAP

. Collaborate with developers to resolve software compatibility issues. Evaluate and recommend hardware/software upgrades for improved scalability.

Key Skills & Requirements

Proven experience as a

Linux Administrator

or in a similar role. Proficient in

Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat)

and command-line operations. Hands-on experience with

Git, BitBucket, or SVN

. Familiarity with

AWS/Azure

and networking protocols (

TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN

). Strong understanding of system security and best practices. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
