Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

System Administrator

with 6 months to 1.5 years of hands-on experience to support, maintain, and monitor our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of system administration, troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers (Windows/Linux). Monitor system performance, availability, and security. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and group policies. Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups. Troubleshoot system, server, and network issues and escalate when required. Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and asset records. Assist in managing cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) under guidance. Support basic networking tasks such as LAN/WAN troubleshooting, VPNs, and firewalls. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in system or IT support roles. Basic knowledge of

Windows Server and/or Linux OS

. Familiarity with

Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN). Experience with ticketing tools and IT support processes. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Bash). Familiarity with virtualization tools (VMware/Hyper-V). * Understanding of backup and recovery processes.
