Job Title: System Administrator

Shift timing: 10 Am to 7 Pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in server administration, firewall management, and networking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, and providing secure and efficient IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Server Administration

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers.

- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and file/print services.

- Perform server patching, updates, and health monitoring.

- Handle virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).

- Conduct regular system backups and restore operations.

Firewall & Security Management

- Install, configure, and manage firewalls (Fortinet/Sophos/Palo Alto/Checkpoint).

- Monitor and manage VPNs, IPS/IDS, NAT, and security policies.

- Review and update firewall rules and ensure compliance with security standards.

- Troubleshoot security incidents and coordinate with vendors.

Networking

- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and wireless access points.

- Manage LAN/WAN networks, VLANs, routing protocols, and network performance.

- Maintain network monitoring tools and respond to alerts.

- Perform root-cause analysis for network outages and performance issues.

IT Operations & Support

- Provide L2/L3 level technical support for escalated issues.

- Maintain hardware inventory and documentation.

- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, warranty claims, and escalations.

- Support onboarding/offboarding activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in system administration.

- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments.

- Experience with firewalls such as Fortigate, Sophos, Palo Alto.

- Good understanding of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and VLANs.

- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

- Experience with backup tools and monitoring systems.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional)

- MCSA / MCSE

- CCNA

- Fortinet NSE

- CompTIA Network+ / Security+

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?300,000.00 - ?500,000.00 per year
