Job Summary

We are looking for a

System Administrator

with hands-on experience in

Linux (Red Hat-based systems)

to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, security, and performance while supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain

Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux)

Perform

user and group management

, permissions, and access control Monitor system performance, disk usage, CPU, memory, and uptime Apply

security patches, updates, and OS upgrades

Configure and troubleshoot

network services

(SSH, FTP, NFS, Samba) Manage

system logs

, backup, and recovery processes Configure and maintain

cron jobs

and automation scripts Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-level issues Support virtualization or cloud environments (VMware/AWS - basic level) Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Required Skills

Strong knowledge of

Linux OS (Red Hat / CentOS)

Experience with

command-line tools

and shell scripting (Bash) Understanding of

file systems, LVM, and RAID

Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall) Familiarity with

SELinux

and Linux security practices Knowledge of

backup tools

and monitoring tools Experience working with

Apache/Nginx

(basic level)
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

RHCSA certification

Experience with

Ansible

or automation tools Knowledge of

Docker / Containers

Exposure to

cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Database basics (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
Education

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, IT

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?500,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
