Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled

IT Support Engineer

to manage and support the IT infrastructure of manufacturing plant. The engineer will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, end-user support, and ensuring the smooth functioning of networking, desktop systems, and plant IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Provide

desktop support

for users, including hardware, software, printers, scanners and other IT peripheral devices. Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot the

plant IT infrastructure

(switches, Wi-Fi access points, CCTV etc.). Handle

basic networking

tasks - LAN/WAN troubleshooting, patching, and connectivity issues. Provide first-level support for

firewalls

(configuration changes/escalation as required). Coordinate with vendors, OEM or senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting and escalations. Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of the plant's IT setup. Ensure minimal downtime and quick response to IT-related incidents within the plant. Support and comply with IT security and backup policies defined by the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1.5 to 2 years of experience in

IT support / system administration

. Strong knowledge of

Windows OS (desktop/server environments)

. Basic understanding of

networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, Wi-Fi)

. Hands-on experience in

troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and printers

. Exposure to

firewalls

(monitoring, reporting) preferred. Ability to work independently in a manufacturing plant environment. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in supporting IT infrastructure in a

manufacturing/plant setup

. Ability to handle IT operations with minimal supervision.
Flexible and willing to take ownership of IT support at the plant.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
