The System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted network and system operations, data security, user support, and compliance with IT policies. The role focuses on proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems and hardware to maintain business continuity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Biometric & Display Monitoring
Monitor and maintain biometric attendance systems and digital displays across all locations.
Ensure accuracy and synchronization with HR systems.
Email Monitoring & Remote Access
Manage official email IDs, access permissions, and troubleshooting.
Oversee secure remote access for employees as per policy.
System & Network Support
Provide end-user technical support for systems, printers, and peripherals.
Monitor LAN/WAN performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
ERP & CRM Oversight
Coordinate with vendors for ERP/CRM maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
Ensure data accuracy and user accessibility.
Infrastructure Checks
Conduct regular inspections of server rooms, UPS, routers, and CCTV systems.
Ensure all IT equipment is functioning efficiently.
Data & Software Management
Perform scheduled data backups and verify restore functionality.
Maintain licensed software and oversee antivirus updates.
Telecommunication & Tender Review
Monitor company telecommunication systems and internet plans.
Assist management in reviewing IT-related tenders and proposals.
Hardware Troubleshooting & Inventory
Diagnose and repair system hardware issues.
Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets and spares.
User & Access Management
Create, modify, or revoke user accounts and system access as required.
Maintain security compliance for all user profiles.
Cybersecurity & Policy Enforcement
Enforce IT security policies and monitor for potential cyber threats.
Educate staff on best practices for data protection.
Proactive Maintenance & Planning
Schedule preventive maintenance and monitor system performance trends.
Plan capacity upgrades and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Compliance & Licensing
Maintain valid software licenses, SSL certificates, and vendor contracts.
Ensure adherence to IT audit and compliance requirements.
Preventive Maintenance & Spares Readiness
Maintain spare parts for essential hardware.
Conduct periodic health checks of critical IT systems.
Documentation & Reporting
Document IT configurations, troubleshooting logs, and network diagrams.
Submit daily reports through the designated Google Sheet format.
Additional Responsibilities (Strategic Scope)
Support implementation of new technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
Assist management in IT budgeting and vendor evaluation.
Daily Google Sheet Reporting (Mandatory)
Fill compulsory columns for system issues, resolutions, and activity updates.
