The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, patching and monitoring IT operations systems primarily for the Linux environment. You will be an integral part of the team, responsible for maintaining system uptime and solving platform-related issues proactively (Linux).
Required Skills and Key Responsibilities
Manage, Install, configure, and monitor Linux-based systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Knowledge of system utilities, and application software such as Apache, Tomcat and JBoss.
Knowledge about Java-based applications and monitor applications such as Grafana, Prometheus, PRTG and QuartzDesk (Schedular monitoring).
Perform regular system updates, patching, and health checks.
Monitor server logs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
Basic knowledge in shell scripting (Bash) for automation.
Knowledge of backup tools, disk management, and file system concepts.
Knowledge of system performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques.
1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator / Engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
Red Hat Certification (RHCSA / RHCE) is Must and considered a huge advantage
