Role Overview
We are seeking a System Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize Procore's IT systems and infrastructure in India. The role requires strong expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, and ensuring security and scalability across a global environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced SaaS organization. Key Responsibilities
Manage, configure, and support Windows/Linux servers, user accounts, permissions, and system access.
Administer cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, Office 365) to support enterprise IT operations.
Maintain endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, JAMF, SCCM) and ensure system security patches and updates.
Support Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), MFA, and identity management systems.
Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and ensure high availability of critical services.
Collaborate with InfoSec teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance.
Document IT processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Support onboarding/offboarding processes, ensuring smooth IT setup for employees.
Work with global IT and engineering teams to standardize processes and implement automation where possible.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4 7 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator in a global SaaS or enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, SSO, MFA, and Identity & Access Management.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or SaaS productivity tools (Google Workspace, O365).
Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, or similar).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in a SaaS or cybersecurity company.
Exposure to Zero Trust security frameworks.
Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS SysOps, RHCE, CompTIA Security+.
