Key Requirement for the Position


Preferred Profile



Minimum Education Qualification: BSC. (Computer Science) / B.E / M.C.A from a reputed institution

3 - 5 years of experience in IT Windows and network administration with Commanding knowledge of Linux basics

Experience in configuring and managing firewalls


Experience in maintaining and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems

Experience in the Linux Environment. In troubleshooting with applications and installation of apps and services.

Experience in maintaining IT assets and audit-focused

Experience in managing laptops, and local servers (including the software)


Experience in managing internal and vendor contracts that are applicable to maintenance and support

Understanding of Configuration/networking on FortiGate firewall, Routers, VOIP phones, Remote Desktop Management, Firewall rules, Network Monitoring, and OS troubleshooting

Experience in Windows server 2008/2012/2016 environment

Knowledge of routing protocols and routing table configuration /network address assignment

Influential communication skills

Team player with the ability to manage the ownership of assigned tasks




Job Summary

Varthana is looking for a System Administrator who will be assisting with hardware and software failure situations and managing repair & maintenance. The candidate will be continuously monitoring the system, ensuring the availability and integrity of all hardware, server resources, systems, and critical processes, evaluating system and application logs, and confirming the successful completion of planned tasks like backups. The incumbent will be maintaining a solid relationship with the internal departments.



Key Role Deliverables



Assisting in circumstances of hardware and software failure and managing repair and recovery

Managing desktop management services including Remote Desktop Management, VPN, VOIP, and other

Investigating and resolving problems while providing remote user support as necessary to the branch office

Conducting daily system monitoring, confirming the availability and integrity of all hardware, server resources, systems, and crucial processes, looking over system and application logs, and confirming the conclusion of planned tasks like backups

Maintaining ongoing security surveillance to spot any potential breaches

Monitoring corporate network hardware, such as switches, routers, and firewalls

Managing LAN Related Issues, designing & Deploying networks, and access points

Resolving any technical problems on an individual basis within the TAT

Relationship Management: Building a solid relationship with the internal departments for collecting accurate information
